Descrizione
Masseria fortificata in agro di Monopoli racchiusa da un alto muro di cinta nel quale si apre un accesso ad arco non perfettamente in asse con la scalinata di accesso all'edificio padronale. La masseria è composta da un edificio a torre, fortificato, con scala di accesso a T al primo piano, dotato di caditoie, feritoie e un campanile a vela sul coronamento del prospetto. La copertura è a terrazzo piano. All'interno del recinto murario trovano spazio anche una cappella, un frantoio e altri edifici di servizio adibiti a stalle, magazzini e depositi.
Fortified Masseria in the Monopoli countryside, enclosed by a high boundary wall in which there is an arched access which is not perfectly aligned with the access staircase to the main building. The Masseria consists of a fortified tower building with a T-shaped access staircase on the first floor, equipped with machicolations, slits and a bell gable on the crown of the façade. The roof is a flat terrace. Inside the wall enclosure, there is also a chapel, an oil mill and other service buildings used as stables, warehouses and storage areas.
